Music maestro A R Rahman's prestigious music institution K M Music Conservatory became a knowledge partner for the Nagaland government's Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA). The tie-up has been done in order to empower the musicians of the state and help in the development of the music industry of Nagaland.
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio thanked A R Rahman saying that he hoped that his experience and knowledge of music will inspire and benefit musicians of the state.
Rio in a tweet said, "We are grateful to A R Rahman @arrahman. With your experience and knowledge, our music fraternity will be greatly benefitted and it will inspire the youth of #Nagaland to reach out for their aspirations and dream bigger."

The Nagaland government has launched TaFMA with anaim to boost the talents of the aspiring musicians of the state.
A R Rahman's music institution KM Music Conservatorywas founded in 2008. The institute offers a range of part-time and full-time coursesin Hindustani and Western classical music and music technology.
