The first coronavirus infected patient from Nalbari district succumbed to the disease on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Jahabeda Bibi. She was admitted to Swahid Mukund Kakoti Civil Hospital on Tuesday. A rapid antigen test conducted after the death of the patient declared her COVID-19 positive.
