National Health Authority Praises GMC

Guwahati Medical College (GMC) has shown commendable performance in implementation of Ayushman Bharat PMJAY.

In a letter to Principal Cum Chief Superintendent Guwahati Medical College Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Talukdar, Chief Executive Officer of National Health Authority Dr. Indu Bhushan has appreciated Guwahati Medical College (GMC) as the health institution has shown commendable performance in implementation of Ayushman Bharat PMJAY under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) R.K. Talukdar, Principal Cum Chief Superintendent Guwahati Medical College Guwahati (Assam).

GMC becomes the top health care institution in terms of treatments amounting to more than Rs. 10 crores with more than 6000 pre- authorisations. Most of the treatments have been for tertiary care like orthopaedics neurosurgery, urology and cardiology.
