National Public Healthcare Summit Starts in Kaziranga

Under the aegis of the Union health and family welfare, the 5th National Summit on "Good and Replicable Practices and Innovations in Public Health Care System in India" has been organised from Tuesday at Borgos resort in Kaziranga.

The three-day summit inaugurated by Union health and family welfare minister, J. P Nadda and Chief Minister of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal.

The govt. has initiated the programme to share and learn from the good practices and innovations implemented by different states.

About 120 practices and innovations were selected to showcase during the summit at Kaziranga. These include 39 oral presentations, 79 poster presentations and two products for display.

A coffee table book with brief description of all practices and products selected for dissemination in the summit, along with contact details for further information, is released and later uploaded on the National Health Innovation portal for public information.
