In a joint operation launched by Army and police, an NDFB cadre has been arrested at Dhomdhoma in the Nalbari district. The cadre has been identified as Boloram Basumatary.

Policerecovered one rifle and some cash from the NDFB cadre. Police also said thatBasumatary was also involved in many murder cases.

Basumataryjoined NDFB 20 years ago.
