Acting on confirmed information regarding the movement of NDFB (S) cadres in Jagun, a joint operation was conducted by Kokrajhar Regiment of Red Horns Division and an ASSAM RIFLES unit at around 5:00 pm on July 19.
The joint team noticed three individuals, suspected to be militants and challenged them.
On being challenged,the suspected militants started to flee but were caught after a chase.
The apprehended individuals have been identified as Ajay Narzary alias BHM N Arkhi, Swmkwr Narzary alias N Swrjilang and Jwngpru Brahma alias BHM B Jafungshar. All three are residents of Kokrajhar district.
The three are 42nd batch Myanmar trained cadres of NDFB (S).
Further interrogation is under progress at Jagun Police Station.
