AssamFinance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday inaugurated Northeast's firstHorse Riding and Polo Training Centre at Sarusajai Stadium in Guwahati. Thereare eight horses at the Horse Riding and Polo Training Centre, three of whichwere brought from Ireland and another five horses from the USA.
MinisterHimanta Biswa Sarma also enjoyed a ride after the inauguration. Expressing hishappiness over the inauguration of the center, the Minister tweeted, "Glad thatthis oldest equestrian sport is growing in popularity."
I've always been in awe of the tenacity and balance of Polo players, and the horses they ride.

As perthe reports, the centre has been set up to organise the National JuniorEquestrian Tournament in 2020.
