NIA Court Rejects Bail Plea of Akhil Gogoi

The NIA court on Friday rejected the bail plea of Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS) chief Akhil Gogoi.

Earlier the Gauhati High Court granted bail to Gogoi under three cases registered in Chabua police station.

The peasant leader was granted bail under case no 293/19, 296/19 and 307/19. A treason case was registered against him under UAPA Act.

However, his advocate will move to Gauhati High Court seeking bail plea of the peasant leader.
