Northeast India to receive heavy rainfall over next 5 days

Northeast India and East India are very likely to continue to receive fairly widespread to widespread rainfall activity with isolated heavy falls during the next five days, said India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Thursday.

Isolated extremely heavy falls are very likely over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim during the next 48 hours, the release added.
