NSCN (R) Cadre Killed During Crossfire in Arunachal

A heavy gun-battle has been reported between Security Forces and militants of the National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Reformation NSCN (R) near Kharsar Jubilee Tea Estate in Arunachal Pradesh.

The gunbattle took place since early morning on Saturday, according to reports.

A cadre of the NSCN (R) has reportedly beenkilled during the gun battle.

The report says that the gun battle is still continued in the area. It may also be mentioned that a cadre of the NSCN (R) rebel outfit was apprehended at Assam's Dima Hasao district on September 10.
