Patient dies after 108 Ambulance denied service

A patientreportedly died after 108 Mrityunjaya ambulances allegedly denied services on Fridayevening at Pengeri in Digboi. The deceased has been identified as SukhitaChetia.

Accordingto reports, the woman had labour pains and her family members dialed 108Ambulance to take her to the hospital, but the receiver declined duty. Afterthat Chetia delivered the baby in her home.

Followingthe delivery, there was heavy blood loss and she died on her way to a hospitalto Digboi.
