The BJP's campaign is much more visible than the Congress with Dr. Sharma as the star campaigner adding the spice in the electioneering with relentless evening road shows from Silchar to Mangaldoi. However, in Silchar, the Priyanka Gandhi road show stole the limelight.
Meanwhile, the election materials for the remote polling booths have already left but the inclement weather has hampered the progress as some areas of Karbi Anglog , Halflong is very remote and need trekking.
