Pinkathon’s Midnight run in Guwahati tonight

A fearless midnight run with actor-cum- fitness promoter Milind Soman will be held tonight at 11.45 pm from G.S. road – outside the Sohum Emporium in association with Guwahati Police Commissionerate.

To spread awareness regarding women's safety, equality, Pinkathon has organized the fearless run in midnight. The run is not a protest, it is a statement of fact, a call to solidarity.

Women will run, walk and celebrate themselves and reclaim the night in a strong statement of affirmation of who they are, and what they must do, to feel safe and secure.

"It's a 5 km run and we are expecting around 100 participants for the event." Said Pinkathon's media Coordinator Utpal Saikia.
