Police Constable Apprehended in Dhubri

Dhubri Police has apprehended one of its own on the suspicion of the latter having a nexus with a drug peddler.

SP Ananda Mishra cracked down upon the accused Gulzar Ali, who is a constable at the B.N. College Police Outpost.

Just two days ago, an operation led by SP Mishra had led to the recovery of a large quantity of illegal intoxicating tablets as well as the arrest of a drug peddler named Azizul Haque.

Ali reportedly was apprehended while he was allegedly negotiating with Haque over the latter's release in exchange for money.
