Prince Daniel of Sweden visits Assam

Prince Daniel of Sweden has reached Guwahati on Wednesday.

The Duke of Västergötland will be visiting a backward area in Hajo. He had offered financial assistants to a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) in Hajo. The NGO was working to educate the students of the backward area under Hajo.

"The royal's visit will bring the area further into the limelight. We will get added encouragement to work harder," said a member of the NGO.

Earlier, Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton visited Assam in 2016.
