Rahul Gandhi to Visit Assam; APCC Yet to Reveal Full Itinerary

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is scheduled to visit Assam on July 16 as part of his outreach to party workers in the state. According to initial inputs, Gandhi will address a gathering of Congress workers at Bongaon under the Boko-Chaygaon (ST) Assembly constituency.

The event is being seen as a significant move by the Congress to mobilise grassroots support ahead of the 2026 Assam Assembly elections, especially in constituencies reserved for Scheduled Tribes (ST).

However, the Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has not yet released a detailed itinerary or disclosed whether Gandhi will have any additional engagements during his visit.
