Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Tuesday inaugurated the BOLD-QIT (Border Electronically Dominated QRT Interception Technique) project on India-Bangladesh border in Dhubri.
With an aim to check infiltration on 61KM Indo-Bangla vordet in the Dhubri district, Home Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurated the BOLD-QIT project. The BOLD-QIT project enables BSF to monitor Indo-Bangla borders with different kind of sensors in the unfenced riverine area of Brahmaputra along with its tributaries.
Earlier the Home Minister, Rajnath Singh has inaugurated two smart fencing pilot projects of five kilometers each on India-Pakistan international border in Jammu in the month of September, last year.
