With dateof final publication of NRC nearing, a rally had been launched in Guwahatidemanding a clean citizen's list.
The rally began from the SB Deorah College to the NRC headquarter.
Former MLAAjay Dutta along with actor Pranjal Saikia, Bhagawat Pritam and PabitraMargherita among other renowned personalities participated in the rally.
Theparticipants opined that many names of Indian citizens have been left out fromthe NRC. However, several names of foreigners have been included in it.Therefore, NRC should be reviewed before the publication of the final list.The rally alsoinformed that a memorandum will be given to NRC Coordinator Prateek Hajelademanding a clean NRC.
