In ashocking development in Kaziranga National Park, Akhtar Ali, a dreaded poacherescaped on Monday giving a slip to Forest Department. He was in custody of theforest department.
Earlier, he was arrested on Thursday (May 9). He was in custody of the Bagori forest range.
Notably, a team of the forest officials and Jakhalabandha police carried a joint operation to arrest him from Garubandha area in Jakhalabandha. He was in radar of police and forest officials following a Rhino poaching case in Bhalukajan.
