Taking Assam to one after the another international platform, this time Rima Das has made the state proud by her representation in Cannes Film Festival.
Making Assamese cinema a well known genre, Rima has participated in various events talking about her films 'Village Rockstars' and 'Bulbul can sing'.
The 'Village Rockstars' director also graced the Indian Pavillion of the Cannes film Festival.
Rima was a panelist at the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting Government India oganised 'Indian Pavillion' which moderated a panel on regional films reaching the global audiences. The event was inaugurated by the ministry's secretary Amit Khare.
CBFC Chairman Prasoon Joshi, producer Bobby Bedi were also present at the event.
