RMC predicts rainfall in Assam & Meghalaya

Bringinga respite to the people of Assam and Meghalaya from the heat wave, the RegionalMeteorology Centre (RMC) in Guwahati has predicted light to moderate rainfallalong with thunderstorm and lightning at different parts of Assam and Meghalayaon Wednesday.

The Meteorologicaldepartment has also predicted one or two spells of rain or thundershowers on Thursdayand state that Guwahati sky will generally remain cloudy on the IndependenceDay.

The RMCpredicted maximum temperature of 36 degree Celsius in Guwahati on Thursday,while minimum temperature is likely to be 27 degree Celsius.
