Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal launched 'Hello Ma', an organisation in Guwahati, on Saturday. The organisation aims at helping those with anxiety, stress and depression through counselling by doctors and experts.
Sonowal lauded the initiative and emphasised on collective effort of the society to help the people experiencing challenging moments in their lives and need support.
He called on the people to endorse societal values and exhibit deep sense of social responsibility by providing support to people in need.
Sonowal also stressed on maintaining positive outlook in day to day life and said that challenges are temporary and people with positive outlook can overcome that.
Further the CM urged the people to show reverence to parents and take good care of them which is of foremost requirement for the elderly people.
Prominent journalist and Editor of Dainik Agradoot, Kanak Sen Deka; DGP Kuladhar Saikia, eminent Psychiatrist Dr Jayanta Das; Sadin Editor Anuradha Sarma Pujari and Hajo MLA Suman Haripriya were also present at the occassion.
'Hello Ma' helpline numbers 2202237, 2202238, 2202239 were also launched on the occasion.
