SBI Guwahati Donates School Bus to Gokul Pre-School Under CSR Initiative

In a commendable gesture under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the State Bank of India (SBI), Guwahati, has donated a school bus to Gokul Pre-School — an initiative of the Hare Krishna Movement in Guwahati.

The donated vehicle is expected to significantly improve safe and affordable transportation for the children of Gokul Pre-School, many of whom come from underprivileged and economically disadvantaged backgrounds. This initiative reflects SBI's continued commitment to holistic education and child welfare in the region.

Inspired by the teachings of Lord Krishna, Gokul Pre-School is dedicated to providing value-based early childhood education that emphasizes culture, care, and character development. The support from SBI is likely to strengthen the school’s outreach and enhance the learning environment for its young students.

The handover ceremony was attended by members of both SBI Guwahati and the Hare Krishna Movement, marking a meaningful milestone in public-private collaboration for social welfare.
