Following the protest by the All Assam Sanjyogi Siksha Karmi Sanstha (AASSKS) on Wednesday morning demanding to conduct special Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET) examination, the Assam education department has called upon the association to discuss the issue.

The state education department has accepted the demand of the siksha karmi sanstha and decided to conduct the TET examination.
The TET examination will be conducted by the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA), said the education minister.
The sanstha also demanded that the government should publish an advertisement within December 15 or else they will again state protest and will gherao Education Minister's house on December 23.
It may be mentioned that the Siksha Karmi Sanstha has staged a protest and carried a protest march from Guwahati Club to the Education Minister's home demanding to conduct TET and regularize their jobs.
