One of the prime accused in the sub-inspector recruitment examination scandal Dibon Deka has been sent to CID custody on Tuesday.

The Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate in Guwahati today sent Deka in 7 days' CID custody. So far, Deka was under the custody of Crime Branch, Guwahati Police.

The senior BJP leader was arrested on October 1.
