Incidentof thefts in two namghars last night in Sivasagar's Meteka has raised seriousconcerns in the area.
The namgharswhere the incident took place are Meteka Bornamghar and Meteka Namghar.
Accordingto reports, thief or thieves stole money from the donation box, silverjewellery and many other items from the namghars.
It may benoted that despite having 'Gaon Suraksha Bahini', which was formed due torepeated incidents of theft, it is the fifth such incident of stealing.
Police hasreached the spot and has begun investigation.
