Sonitpur DC Tests Positive for COVID-19

Sonitpur Deputy Commissioner Manavendra Pratap Singh has been tested positive for COVID-19 on Thursday evening.

Earlier, his son and wife also tested positive of the virus.

Notably, Sonitpur reported 2927 cases of the virus with 64 new cases reported yesterday.

Meanwhile, Assam registered 86052 cases of COVID-19 while 63120 patients have recovered from the disease. The active cases in the state stand at 22708 while 221 persons succumbed to the disease.
