Sonowal orders DCs to identify illegal evictions on govt lands

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday has directed the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management to conduct a comprehensive survey to identify illegal evictions in state government lands.

The Chief Minister directed the Deputy Commissioners of all the 33 districts of the state to complete the survey on a priority basis and submit the report expeditiously.

The directive was issued by Chief Minister Sonowal at a review meeting held at Brahmaputra State Guest House here today.
