The United Bank of India (UBI) on Thursday has signed a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Assam Government.
As per the MoU, State government employees will get subsidised housing loans through government's housing scheme 'Apon Ghar'.
Around 51,000 employees under Assam government would be able to get benefit of the scheme.
The MoU had signed in the presence of state Finance Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, Minister of State for Labour and Employment Pallab Lochan Das, Additional Chief Secretary (Finance) Rajiv Kumar Bora and UBI senior officials.
