- Thestolen idol of the Ugratar Temple is now at the Latashil Police Station inGuwahati.
- Onthe other hand, pertaining to the theft of the idol, five people have beenarrested.
- Thosearrested are: Samsul Ali, Rahul Ali, Adil Ali, Mintu Roy and San Hussain
- Twoof the pieces of the idol have been recovered from the residence of Rahul Ali
- Rahul'swife and mother-in-law have also been detained by the police
- Anotherthief is still absconding
