Supari laden truck seized in Sagolia

On Sunday, police have seized an illegal supari laden truck (WB-65C/6511) at the Assam-West Bangal border under the Agamani Revenue circle.

As per reports, the truck was going toward Sagolia from Silchar, whenpolice seized the truck. Moreover, the truck driver was unable to show anylegal documents to carry such supari to West Bengal.

Later, police had filed a suo-moto case regarding the incident and sent Jiyaul Seikh, the driver of the truck to jail. Jiyaul is the resident of the Malda district in West Bengal.

From the incident, once again the activities of the supari syndicates have come to light.
