Tajia incident: People demand release of accused

Tensedsituation erupted in Dibrugarh town after a group of people gheraoed theDibrugarh Police Station on Thursday afternoon. According to reports, the groupof people demanded immediate release of the two arrested accused, who wereinvolved in the violence during Tajia rally in the town.

It may be mentioned here that the Dibrugarh Police on Wednesday arrested two in connection with the incident. The arrested accused were identified as Fulkan Hussain and Ajad Khan.

Earlier,a group of Tajia participators damaged several vehicles in Dibrugarh town onTuesday that created sensation across the State.
