North East United FC (NEUFC) is scheduled to take on the Indian men's national football team in a friendly match ahead of the latter's FIFA World Cup qualifier.
The Indian men's team will prepare for the qualifier against Bangladesh (to be played on October 15) by facing NEUFC on October 9 at the Indira Gandhi International Stadium in Guwahati. Both teams are currently undergoing training at the stadium.
The match is set to start at 7.30 pm on Wednesday. Interestingly, this is the first time that the national team will play a match against any ISL team.
It may be mentioned here that no arrangements of tickets have been made for the upcoming match. The match will be open to all.
