Gabharu river of Tezpur overflew on Monday after being hit my flood following heavy rainfall. Large areas including several villages were submerged in the flood.
Baligaon, Gabharu ghat, Shiv mandir's Kusgaon were heavily affected.
Dwellings in the area were submerged with water level rising above knee level.
