Torchlight rally against CAB across the State

The Jipal Krishak Shramik Sangha staged torchlight rally in Bokakhat on Saturday as protest against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill continued across the State. Several other organisations also took part in the rally.

On the other hand, the members of Doom Dooma AASU also staged a torchlight rally in protest against the bill on Saturday evening. The protesters also shouted slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chief Minister Sonowal and BJP government.

Similarly, in Tingkhong, people of several villages took out torchlight rally in protest against the bill. In Nagaon, the Garia-Maria Deshi Jatiya Parishad took out torchlight rally against the much-debated Bill. They demanded Chief Minister Sonowal to stand with the people of Assam and to take action against the bill.
