Woman gang-raped, set on fire in Guwahati

In yet another sensational incident, a woman was gang-raped and murdered by miscreants in Chandrapur area of Guwahati. She was set on fire after being raped by the miscreants.

Meanwhile, six people have been detained by the Pragjyotishpur police in connection with the incident. The detainees were identified as Anil Das, Ananda Das, Raju Karmakar, Nadu Biswas, Mrigen Deka and Abdul Hussain.

They were said to be the labours of a brick factory. The locals demanded strict actions against the miscreants involved in the incident.
