Woman jumps into Brahmaputra from Saraighat Bridge

In an unfortunate incident, a woman jumped into the Brahmaputra River from the Saraighat Bridge on Sunday. It was suspected to be suicide.

Meanwhile, a team of river police has recovered the body. "Seemingly it was an incident of suicide," said eyewitnesses.

"The body is yet to be identified," said a police official. However, her body was sent for an autopsy.
