Woman rescued from a ditch in Raha

In ashocking incident, a woman was rescued from a ditch under mysteriouscircumstances in Raha's Amsoi.

The woman,has been identified as Jorhat's Binita Konwar, who was found beside theembankment of the Kapili River.

AmsoiPolice has sent Binita to a hospital for treatment.

However,it is yet not clear how the woman ended up in the ditch.

Localresidents have alleged that miscreants had brought her to accomplish some vice.
