Youth attacked with knife in Chandmari

In ashocking incident, a youth attempted to kill another by stabbing him with aknife in Guwahati on Saturday evening. The incident took place near Chandmaripolice station.

Identified as Dipjyoti Lahkar, a resident of Forest-gate area, the youth has been admitted in a hospital with serious injuries after the youth named Trailukya Sarma attacked him with the knife. Trailukya is reportedly a resident of Guwahati's Bamunimaidam area.

Both of them reportedly got into a fight on Saturday evening near the police station. Meanwhile, police after registering a case arrested Trailukya in connection with the incident.
