A youth was arrested after he attempted to rape a girl from Maligaon on Monday.
As per the details, Bittu Nath, attempted to rape a girl in the evening in a room of a lodge named Saindya.
She somehow managed to elope from the room and reached Jalukbari Police station seeking help. She narrated the whole incident to the police and informed that the owner of the lodge is also involved in the case.
Acting swiftly, police succeeded in arresting Bittu Nath and the owner of the lodge.
