Police hasdetained a youth along with a pistol, who was travelling from Guwahati toGauripur in a bus.

Thedetainee has been identified as Chandakhola's Hasem Ali.

Accordingto reports, a 7.65 mm pistol, one magazine, one mobile phone and some doubtfuldocuments have been recovered from Ali.

Policeinterrogation is underway.
