- The youth has been identified as Sumit Singha.
- According to reports, he went to the river for freshen up.
- Reportedly, Sumit was playing cricket with his friends in the Sonaram field.
- Meanwhile, the river police along with the SDRF initiated a rescue operation in search of Sumit.
