Lovlina Borgohain has settled for Bronze at the AIBA World Women's Boxing Championship after losing the semi-final against China's Yang Liu with 2-3 in the 69 kg category.

Both the Assam girl Jamuna Boro and Lovlina Borgohain have to settle with the bronze while India's Manju Rani had stormed to the final of the event.
Earlier, in the day, Manipur's MC Mary Kom lost her semi-final bout against Turkey's Busenaz Cakiroglu and has to satisfy with the bronze medal.
