Two days after the deadly attack on CRPF jawans in Pulwama, an IED blast killed a major-ranked Army officer near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu Kashmir's Nowshera sector on Saturday afternoon. Several other military personals also sustained injuries during the blast.
According to reports, it was unclear whether the IED blast was carried out from across the border.
44 CRPF jawans were killed in a terror attack in Pulwama on Thursday.
