A Jaguar fighter aircraft of the Indian Air Force crashed in the fields near Bhanuda village in Churu district of Rajasthan on Wednesday, triggering panic in nearby areas. The cause of the crash remains unknown, and an investigation is underway.
Local residents reported hearing a loud explosion in the sky, followed by smoke and flames rising from the ground. Debris from the aircraft was found scattered across the crash site, with the wreckage completely mangled.
Police and district officials rushed to the scene shortly after the crash. As per reports, two bodies have been recovered from the site, but no official confirmation of casualties has been issued yet. The identities and roles of the individuals found are also yet to be officially verified.
District Collector Abhishek Surana and senior police personnel have reached the crash site to oversee the situation and coordinate with Air Force teams.
