Chidambaram Sent to CBI Custody till Aug 26

Former Union Finance Minister P Chidambaram has been sent to CBI custody till August 26 by the special CBI court in the INX Media case.

Chidambaram's plea against the CBI is listed for Friday inthe Supreme Court while the petition against the ED is listed for August 27.

Moreover, Supreme Court to hear Chidambaram's petitionagainst the Enforcement Directorate on August 27, whereas his petition againstthe CBI which would be heard tomorrow.

It has been said by the CBI that Chidambaram's family couldmeet him for 30 minutes daily.
