Congress President Rahul Gandhi today said that his party will continue to work fearlessly and asserted that the 52 newly-elected Congress MPs will work like pride of brave-hearted lions. He also said that the BJP cannot have a walk over in parliament.
In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said that the party may have just 52 Lok Sabha members but they will work together like a pride of brave-hearted lions to protect the Constitution and institutions and to fearlessly do their duty as the leading opposition party adding that the BJP will have no walkover in the Parliament.

In the LokSabha election, Congress has secured a meager 52 seats out of 543 seats and BJPhas secured 303 seats. Gandhi, while addressing the Congress ParliamentaryParty said that the ideological battle with the BJP will continue.
He furtherstated that every congress member must remember that each one of the member isfighting for the Constitution for every person in India irrespective of thecolour of his skin or belief.
The Congresschief offered to resign from the post of President of the party acceptingresponsibility for the defeat of the party in the Lok Sabha election but CWChas rejected the resignation of Gandhi.
