Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was on Monday night hospitalized after he complained of fever and breathing issues, has tested negative for coronavirus. He will be tested again on Wednesday as he is still suffering from fever.
However, doctors at the hospital said his condition is "stable" and had been taken off the oxygen supply.
He has been admitted to the Rajiv Gandhi Super Speciality Hospital, a dedicated COVID-19 facility under the Delhi government.
DelhiChief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had, meanwhile, tweeted: "Withoutworrying about your health, you were dedicated in service of peopleround-the-clock. Please take care and get well soon."
Just days back, Kejriwal was also tested for COVID-19 after he had developed a fever and sore throat. Kejriwal's test result had returned negative.
