Haryana Education Minister Kanwar Pal on Wednesday has tested positive for coronavirus.
He took to his twitter handle and announced the same.
"After some symptoms, I got my Covid test done and it returned positive. I request all those who might have come in my contact to isolate themselves and get their tests done," the minister tweeted.
Kanwar is currently being treated in a hospital in Chandigarh.
Earlier, Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal also tested positive for Covid-19 on August 25. He is making a steady progress, said hospital authorities.
