It has been a fortnight, India will remember always as three great leaders of the country passed away within a span of 10 days.

First it was Karunanidhi, followed by Somnath Chatterjee and then the most popular prime minster of post Nehru era, Atal Bhari Vajpayee.

Each of them were titans and dominated the political landscape of India for over half a century and each of them were from different ideology.

If Karunandihi was the pioneer of regionalism in India, Somnath Chatterjee was the tallest left leader of the country and went on to be the Speaker of the Lok Sabha. There was hardly anything left to be said anew for Atal Behari Vajpayee, who was cremated this evening with complete state honour.

Rarely India had ever seen passing of three doyens in such a short span of time. Each of them had seen a full life and lived full but all of them left indelible mark in their own life, which no Indian can ever forget.
